National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the largest library in the country and one of the leading scientific and cultural centers in Central Asia. It was founded in 1931 on the basis of several libraries and has since become the main repository of the national document collection. The library’s holdings contain more than 7 million items, including books, periodicals, manuscripts, archival documents, and electronic resources.
