Memorial Square named after Alia Moldagulova and Manshuk Mametova

You are in a place of memory and pride of Almaty. This square is dedicated to two young heroines who gave their lives for the Motherland in the Great Patriotic War. Before you stands a majestic bronze monument. Two figures frozen in motion. This is Alia Moldagulova and Manshuk Mametova. They were only 18 and 20 years old.
