Mahatma Gandhi Park

Mahatma Gandhi Park is located in the Almaly District of Almaty, in the square formed by Shevchenko, Zharokov, Zhambyl, and Gagarin streets. The park was created in the 1970s and received its current name in 2003. A monument to Mahatma Gandhi was installed on its territory and opened in October 2003.
