Monument to Ablai Khan

The monument to Ablai Khan in Almaty is one of the most popular areas for relaxation and enjoying historical open-air architecture. The monument to the prominent statesman, military leader, diplomat, and great khan of the Kazakh Khanate was officially opened in 2000. The sculptural composition is installed on the station square of the Almaty-2 railway station, forming an important urban planning landmark of this historical district.
