"Nur Astana" Mosque

The "Nur Astana" mosque is an important religious and architectural site in the city of Astana. The construction of this complex began in 2005 based on a design by Lebanese architect Charles Hafiz. The official opening of the Islamic center took place in March 2008, making it one of the largest mosques in the region at that time.
