Monument to Akhmet Baitursynov

The monument to Akhmet Baitursynov in Almaty is one of the most popular areas for relaxation and enjoying historical open-air architecture. The monument to the prominent Kazakh educator, linguist, and statesman was officially opened in 1998 to commemorate the 125th anniversary of his birth. The monument is located in the square of the same name next to the house-museum where this public figure lived and worked in the 1930s.
