Monument to Mukhtar Auezov

The monument to Mukhtar Auezov. Mukhtar Omarovich Auezov (1897–1961) was an outstanding Kazakh writer, scholar, playwright, and public figure. The monument is installed near the theater of the same name in Almaty. It is a sculptural composition and was opened in honor of his significant contribution to the development of Kazakh literature and culture of the 20th century.
