Akhmet Baitursynov House-Museum

The Akhmet Baitursynov House-Museum is a memorial museum in Almaty dedicated to the outstanding Kazakh public figure, enlightener, linguist, poet, and one of the leaders of Alash-Orda. The museum is located in the house where Akhmet Baitursynov lived from 1933 to 1937. Opened in 1993, it preserves the authentic atmosphere of that time and tells the story of the life and work of the man often called the “Teacher of the Nation.”
