A. Baitursynov Square

A. Baitursynov Square is a landscaped public space in Almaty, named after the prominent Kazakh enlightener, linguist, and poet. The history of this recreational zone is connected with honoring the memory of the "Alash" movement leaders and developing the megalopolis's green areas. The central element of the square is the monument to Akhmet Baitursynov, installed as part of the historical heritage preservation program.
