A bronze monument dedicated to the distinguished composer Mukan Tulebayev, author of the opera “Birzhan and Sara” and one of the contributors to the music of Kazakhstan’s national anthem.

The Monument to M.T. Tulebayev was unveiled in Almaty in 2002 on the street named after the composer. The monument was created by sculptor Yedige Rakhmadiyev and architect Kazbek Zharylgapov. Cast in bronze and placed on a granite pedestal, the sculpture follows a classical artistic style and portrays the composer in a thoughtful, creative pose.
