Kok-Tobe Park

Kok-Tobe Park is located on the mountain of the same name in the south-eastern part of Almaty. The height of the mountain is 1,130 meters above sea level. The park was opened in the 1950s and remains one of the most popular recreation spots for residents and tourists. The Almaty Television Tower, 371.5 meters high and built in 1983, stands on its territory.
