Family Park is one of the largest recreational parks in Almaty. Opened in 2004 on the site of the former 50th Anniversary of October Park, it has developed into a modern public space with landscaped gardens, walking paths, amusement rides, sports facilities, cafés, and children's playgrounds. Its convenient location attracts large numbers of visitors every day.
