Tselinny Center of Contemporary Culture

The Tselinny Center of Contemporary Culture is one of the most significant cultural institutions in Almaty, opened in 2025 in the renovated building of the legendary Tselinny Cinema, built in 1964. It is the first private institution in Kazakhstan focused on developing interdisciplinary interaction in contemporary art, music, performance, and intellectual practices. The center has quickly become a platform for experimental projects and international collaborations.
