D.A. Kunaev Museum

The D.A. Kunaev Museum in Almaty is a unique memorial complex dedicated to the outstanding statesman of Kazakhstan, Dinmukhamed Akhmedovich Kunaev. It consists of two parts: the main museum, opened in 2002 for his 90th anniversary, and the memorial apartment-museum, which was solemnly inaugurated on January 12, 2012, on the occasion of his 100th birthday. The museum is located in the historical center of the city on Tulebaev Street and preserves the atmosphere of the Soviet era in which the legendary leader of the Kazakh SSR lived and worked.
