The Steampunk Batyr Art Object is located in Almaty and presents a unique interpretation of the traditional Kazakh warrior. Created by Kazakh sculptor Zulkhainar Kozhamkulov, the sculpture is officially titled Mergen ("The Archer") and has become one of the city's most recognizable examples of contemporary public art.
