Sculpture "Yuri Gagarin on a Bench"
A unique public sculpture unveiled in Almaty in 2018. It depicts the first cosmonaut, Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin, sitting on a bench and commemorates Kazakhstan's role in the history of space exploration.

An empty seat beside him allows visitors to sit next to the legendary cosmonaut and take memorable photographs. This interactive design creates a feeling of closeness to the first person who traveled into space.
