Palace of Schoolchildren

The Palace of Schoolchildren is one of the largest institutions of additional education in Almaty. It was opened in 1962 and for a long time was known as the Palace of Pioneers. Currently, the Palace of Schoolchildren hosts dozens of creative clubs, studios, sports sections, and scientific groups for children and teenagers of different ages. Classes are held in music, choreography, fine arts, technical creativity, foreign languages, and many other areas.
